EGO has announced new additions to their Power+ line of cordless outdoor power tools.
EGO POWER+ Nexus Escape 400W Inverter (PAD5000)
The new EGO Power+ Nexus Escape inverter delivers up 400W of continuous power, and 800W of peak power.
Its single AC outlet delivers Pure Sine Wave power, which EGO describes as providing high quality, clean power for sensitive electronics. (A pure sine wave AC signal is indeed recommended for many types of digital electronics these days, over modified sine wave AC power.)
The EGO Nexus Escape also has 3 USB ports.
The USB-C PD port can provide up to 100W of power and can charge larger electronic devices.
EGO Power+ 670 CFM Blower (LB6703)
EGO has a new blower that can deliver 670 CFM of air at speeds of up to 180 MPH, and up to 80 minutes of runtime with a 4Ah battery (included with the kit).
EGO says that the blower is quiet, lightweight, compact, faster than gas, and powerful enough to blow wet leaves, caked on grass, rocks, and other heavy debris.
It comes with a tapered nozzle, which helps the blower achieve its 180 MPH max air speed, and has variable speed control from 250 to 530 CFM. I would presume that the performance is achieved via turbo mode, as with EGO’s other cordless blowers.
EGO POWER+ Multi-Head 16” String Trimmer with POWERLOAD (MST1603)
There will be a new Multi-Head kit that includes a 16” trimmer with PowerLoad tech. PowerLoad enables users to feed the cutting line with the push of a button.
The Power Head is compatible with all EGO Power+ multi-head attachments.
The 16” trimmer can run for up to 45 minutes with a 4Ah battery (included with the kit).
EGO POWER+ 10” Telescopic Pole Saw (PS1001)
The new EGO Power+ 10” pole saw features an industry-first LED cut line indicator, for more accurate cutting under dark, shaded, or low light conditions.
It features a telescoping carbon fibre shaft for total reach of 16 feet.
EGO also says the new pole saw has best-in-class weight that’s up to 30% lighter than other pole saws.
Tensioning is tool-free.
Users can expect to make up to 100 cuts using a 56V 2.5Ah battery, included in the kit.
EGO POWER+ 26” Hedge Trimmer (HT2601)
The new EGO 26” hedge trimmer features dual-action blades, a 5-position 180° rotating handle, industry-first carbon fibre rail, and it cuts at up to 3400 strokes per minute.
EGO says that the trimmer’s carbon fibre rail is strong, light, and durable, and is covered under a lifetime warranty.
EGO POWER+ 42” Zero Turn Radius Mower with eSteer Technology (ZT4205S)
EGO’s new zero-turn mower ”drives like a car, turns like a ZTR!”
It features the industry’s first eSteer technology, which is said to deliver ultimate control with the added added precision of a steering wheel.
The Z6 with eSteer 42” riding mower is said to pack the power of a 22 horsepower gas mower, but without the noise, fuss, or fumes.
It can cut up to 2.5 acres on a single charge with the four included 12Ah ARC Lithium batteries.
EGO POWER+ Select Cut XP 21″ Mower with Speed IQ (LM2167SP)
The new Select Cut XP 21” mower with Speed IQ self-propel technology digitally senses and adapts speed to your stride, no levers or dials to adjust.
The Select Cut multi-blade system delivers customizable cutting performance with 3 interchangeable mower blades.
This mower features the industry’s first digital display, which is integrated into the handlebar. The display provides real-time information – mower speed, battery charge status, and blade speed selection.
Runtime is up to 90 minutes on a single charge with 12Ah batteries (included in the kit).
EGO POWER+ 21” Self-Propelled Mower with Touch Drive (LM2125SP)
There will also be a new 21” self-propelled mower with Touch Drive, a self-propel drive system that is engaged with the palm of your hands, allowing easy control of the variable speed by scrolling a dial with your fingertips.
The mower delivers up to 60 minutes with a 7.5Ah battery (included in the kit).
EGO POWER+ 21″ Self-Propelled Mower (LM2114SP) & 21″ Mower (LM2114)
Lastly, there will be 21” self-propelled and non-propelled push mowers, both delivering 6 ft-lbs of cutting torque.
Runtime is up to 50 minutes on a single charge with a 6Ah battery.
The mowers have 7-position height adjustment, for mowing from 1.5 to 4”.
The self-propelled mower can be engaged with either hand using dual levers, and speed adjustment is done via a dial at your fingertips.
