Due to continued growth throughout our company, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the sales team here at Hayes Machinery.
We are a proactive business based just outside South Molton, where we pride ourselves on our product knowledge and customer service. As a company we like to go the extra mile and do what it takes to cater for our customers.
This full-time role will include a mix of showroom and field sales as well as assisting with telephone and online enquiries, where you will advise customers on machinery requirements, conduct site visits, carry out demonstrations, attend shows and events and assist customers with the operational instructions and setup.
This role will be heavily based around our Trailer, ATV and commercial areas of business where the right candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing our customer base and building relationships while adding value to every process within our company.
The ideal candidate will require
•A good knowledge of our products.
•Experience in using some similar products to which we deal in.
•The willingness to learn everything about our company, products & industry.
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•To be very well organised.
•Be able to work well within a team and on their own initiative
•Work well under pressure during busy periods
•Good IT skills
•Have good interpersonal skills
•Be passionate in their delivery
Sales experience would be very desirable but adaptable skills would also be considered within this role.
We offer ongoing product and sales training in house and external. The initial training and onboarding process will be completed with the managing director and once this is complete you will report directly to the sales director.
You will be required to work 8am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday with Saturday’s on a rota basis. A competitive salary and bonus scheme will be on offer for the right candidate with other benefits as they become available.
