Standard features include a quick-offset drawbar, anti-scalping rear roller, engine kill switch, simple cutting-height adjustment, and heavy-duty hammer flails powered by an 18 hp Briggs & Stratton V-twin engine with triple-belt drive and manual lever engagement.
Optional upgrades include electric start, remote throttle controls, and flotation wheels/tyres (available on wheels-alongside versions). Choose between wheels-alongside for enhanced balance and towing stability, or wheels-behind for improved access through narrow gateways and closer cutting along edges or boundaries.
Perfect for rough terrain—such as heather moorland, woodland rides, bramble patches, game cover, and roadside verges—the flail system also manages general grass-cutting tasks with ease. The flail action spreads material evenly across the full 1.2 m width, ensuring fast breakdown and preventing the clumping often left by rotary mowers.
