Features
Powerful 999cc 2-cylinder Engine. The stunning power of the 999cc, DOHC, 8-valve, parallel twin-cylinder engine delivers class-leading, ultra-smooth performance across the power band. With the red line at 8,500 rpm, aggressive and spirited riding is what this machine is all about. For complete peace of mind, our legendary durability and reliability is the hallmark of every Yamaha engine.
Three drive modes, one ultra versatile machine. Yamaha’s Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) works with their Ultramatic® transmission and On-Command systems to give perfect power delivery in any situation, via its three-position D-Mode (Drive Mode) control. Choose Sports Mode for wide spaces and spirited driving, Trail Mode for a fun, relaxed ride, or Crawl Mode for slow-speed technical tasks like rock crawling where better handling from the longer wheelbase really shines.
Tyres designed for the toughest terrain. The 14” aluminium wheels are shod with 30” Carnavore tyres arranged in a “square” setup, so you only need to carry a single spare. These special radial tyres are developed specially for the RMAX to provide precise steering character and comfortable, yet durable sidewall feel. The tread pattern design provides great traction, whatever the terrain.
On Command system – Turf Mode. In addition to the 2WD/4WD/diff-lock modes the On Command system also has Turf Mode. Turf Mode unlocks the rear differential, offering a tighter turning radius and reduced turf damage.
Advanced, comfort-focused suspension. The heavy-duty suspension is designed to provide a great handling blend: maximum articulation in low-speed situations – a balanced feel when trail riding – and maximum bottoming resistance with a higher-speed damping feel when manoeuvring aggressively. The wide-arc Arms paired with easily in-cabin adjustable FOX® iQS shocks provide the perfect front and rear combination.
Imposing and aggressive styling. The Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 blends next-level capability with an imposing appearance, thanks to its eye-catching painted interior and exterior, graphics, aggressive front-end design and rugged Carnage tyres. The LED headlights and “evil eye” marker lights add even more to its distinctive looks, while the LED taillight, brake light, and reverse light provide added visibility.
Rugged front bumper. The aggressively styled and upgraded rugged front bumper design pair with a powerful WARN® VRX45 winch. Along with its striking looks come two welded steel trailering and tie-down points. An add-on brush guard and pod-light mounting brackets are also available as accessories.
Versatile cargo facilities. The Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 models feature a generously proportioned tilting cargo bed to simplify hauling duties. Built with hydraulic assistance and a robust latch system, the bed transports up to 272kg with multiple steel tie-down points to secure cargo or attach accessories. Ass in a full 907kg of towing capacity through a standard two-inch receiver, and the Wolverine is ready to get to work whenever you are.
Spacious four-person cabin. The premium quality, automotive inspired cabin design of the Wolverine® RMAX™4 1000 offers comfortable, secure seating for four full sized adults with comfortable handholds and six-position seat belts for each seat. The second row is raised for excellent visibility, so everyone gets a great ride and a good view of their surroundings.
Stylish and helpful interior lighting. Driving in low light conditions is a real pleasure in this model, which features a sophisticated interior package with floor and console lighting, easy to locate blue LED-lit switch controls and instruments that are also back lit in blue. The premium level design approach adds to the attractive ambience of the automotive quality cockpit.
Durability you can count on. With its substantial component parts and solid build quality, this machine provides a truly confidence-inspiring ownership experience.
