The MS 212 C-BE petrol chainsaw is Stihl’s most powerful petrol chainsaw for homeowners. Whether you are cutting firewood, pruning branches or felling small trees, the MS 212 packs all the power you need to tackle the toughest maintenance jobs. The MS212 C-BE shows all the features and benefits of the outgoing MS211 with the advantage of a more powerful engine.
Powered by a 38.6cc STIHL 2-MIX engine, the MS 212 C-BE has great cutting performance and low fuel consumption. The power output has increased to 1.8kW / 2.4hp.
Fitted with a 3/8″ P saw chain which has high cutting performance thanks to the narrow kerf this chainsaw is available with either a 14” or 16” guide bar. The metal bumper spike is fitted for easier cutting and prevention of kickback.
The ErgoStart (E) function of the C-BE cuts the effort required to start the tool by half with the starter cord needing to be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action. The small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required further.
The MS 212 C-BE has single-lever operation and is effortless to restart after interruptions thanks to the combi-lever. This combi lever also reduces the risk of flooding the machine.
For quick chain tensioning the user only has to release the sprocket cover to then adjust the chain using the thumb wheel. No tools required.
The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces transmission of vibrations to the handle, which relieves strain on your muscles and joints, perfect for those longer cutting days.
The MS 212 C-BE is fitted with a transparent fuel and oil tank, so you can clearly see when the chainsaw needs a fuel or oil top up. The fuel tank has increased to 400ml for less frequent topping up.
