STIHL AL 501 FAST CHARGER – NEW
Replacing the AL 500, the AL 501 is a new AK & AP system fast charger with a modernised design. A key benefit of the AL 501 is a new situational charging feature, allowing users to adapt the charging speed of the AP 200S and AP 300S via the Stihl Connected App.
KEY FEATURES
New modernised design. The exterior design has been updated in line with the AL 301.
Similar charging times to AL 500. New functional safety requirements require charging breaks, resulting in slightly longer charging times for backpack batteries.
Situational charging. The charging speed of individual batteries can be changed between gentle, normal and rapid in the Stihl Connected App. Gentle charging benefits battery health and reduces the load on an electrical circuit, ideal for overnight charging. Rapid charging is available for demanding applications such as charging during work breaks.
For non-Connected users, batteries will be charged at ‘normal’ speed by default (all quoted charge times are normal speed unless otherwise stated).
Situational charging is available for the AP 200S and AP 300S (latest version only). The feature will be extended to other AP batteries in 2025.
