HSA 60 Cordless Hedge Trimmer: AK System hedge trimmer with 60 cm / 24″ blade length
The HSA 60 is a powerful battery-powered hedge trimmer designed for demanding applications at home, such as trimming bushes, shrubs, and medium to large-sized hedges. It’s incredibly lightweight and easy-to-use and has a rotatable multi-function handle, which allows the handle to be turned at 90 degrees so you can take on awkward angles when trimming. It’s quiet too, thanks to the 36 V lithium-ion battery – making it perfect for noise sensitive environments.
It also features laser-cut double-edged, diamond ground blades that deliver a smart finish when trimming bushes and hedges in your home garden. The blades have a droplet shape on the blade which guides twigs and branches whilst cutting and the anti-block system changes the rotational direction of the cutting blades in the event of blockages. A screw-on tip protector prevents wear when working near the ground or along walls. Plus, it features the STIHL anti-vibration system for comfortable use whilst working.

- Anti-vibration system – Vibrations can occur when you put your power tools through their paces, and these are particularly noticeable in the grip area. The buffer and spring elements of the STIHL anti-vibration system reduce the transmission of vibrations to the handle area and therefore to your body. The result is that your power tool is more comfortable to hold and your work is much less tiring.
- EC Motor – Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
- Tip protector – The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.
- Functional design – Thanks to its smooth surfaces and round contours, the engine casing does not catch on branches during work. This design also makes cleaning easier and saves you time when maintaining the power tool.
When used with the recommended AK 10 battery, the HSA 60 has a working time of up to 70 minutes. What’s more, this battery provides perfect balance when used, making work even more comfortable!
Increase the battery to the AK20 or AK30 and the HSA 60’s runtime will increase to as much as 175 minutes or 560m2.
