Mowing with the environment in mind has become a reality with the LR2 ES76 mini rider from Cub Cadet. The machine is particularly quiet and completely emission-free which not only benefits the environment, but also reduces any disturbance to the neighbours.
This new model employs an efficient electric motor powered by a 56 volt lithium-ion battery to drive the 76cm (30″) cutter deck. A single four hour charge of the battery will give you 60 minutes of mowing with no reduction of performance while the battery levels decrease. The clever safe return function means that, at a battery level of 10%, the cutting deck automatically switches off to make sure enough power remains to safely return to the charging station.
The versatile Cub Cadet LR2 ES76 lets you choose between side discharging the grass clippings or mulching them by fitting the mulch kit included. With the addition of an optional 115 litre collection bag, the clippings can also be collected.
Electronic speed control works like cruise control and ensures that the selected pace remains constant, even on uneven terrain or in tall grass. The reverse mowing technology allows you to continue mowing while backing up your mini rider (as a safety precaution this function must be activated manually).
Thanks to its compact design, the ride-on mower will fit through a typical garden gate and, with the easy entry step-through frame and 46cm turning radius, the machine is as easy to use as it is manoeuvrable.
The Cub Cadet LR2 ES76 is fitted with an ultra-bright LED headlight which provides high visibility in poor light conditions or when working at dawn or dusk.
