Warranty

1. Warranty Agreement

AriensCo GmbH warrants to the original purchaser that Ariens and AS-Motor brand products purchased on or after 5 June 2023 will be free from defects in material and workmanship for the time period noted in the chart below. The warranty period begins on the date of the first purchase from an AriensCo dealer.

• Residential Use: Personal use around a single household.
• Commercial Use: Business use or use at multiple locations.
• Rental/Leased Use: Warranty duration is 90 days.

The warranty applies only if the product is used as intended and maintained per the manual. It is valid within the European Union.

Repairs or replacements are free of charge (labour and parts), except for merchants, who bear removal, reinstallation, pickup, and delivery costs.

Online registration within 30 days is mandatory for warranty claims. For spare parts and accessories, a sales invoice suffices.

This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

2. Definitions

• Legal Warranty: Based on statutory consumer protection.
• Warranty Claims: Based on agreements between AriensCo and the customer.
• Goodwill Claims: Voluntary compensation outside warranty periods.

8. Exclusions & Limitations

• Wear parts (filters, blades, belts, etc.)
• Non-genuine parts
• Improper repairs or unauthorized modifications
• Use of fuel with >10% ethanol
• Tampering with hour meter
• Use outside original distribution area

9. Delivery

• Dealers must inspect devices before delivery.
• Hidden damage must be reported within 7 days.
• Tilt sensors may be used to detect transport damage.

10. Items Not Covered

• Non-genuine parts
• Wear and tear
• Unauthorized repairs
• Unapproved accessories
• Misuse or neglect
• Fuel-related issues

11. Customer Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance
• Notify AriensCo within 3 weeks of damage
• Provide invoice or registration certificate
• Send defective parts if requested
• Use authorized service representatives

12. Disclaimer

• Design changes do not imply defects in previous models.
• Warranty work does not reset the warranty period.
• AriensCo decides on repair or replacement.

13. Limitation of Remedy

• Liability is limited to repair or replacement.
• No liability for incidental or consequential damages.

14. Further Warranty Disclaimer

• No additional warranties beyond those stated.
• Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty.

15. Applicable Law

• Governed by German law.
• Jurisdiction: AriensCo’s registered office.
• Outside EU: Warranty terms may vary by importer.
