We were offered this tractor which had not been used for several years and had been stored in an open fronted barn by a customer. We purchased the tractor so we could create a video for our YouTube Channel about getting it going. We produced 2 videos on this tractor where we got it working. These can be viewed on our YouTube Channel – Hayes Machinery.
This tractor is old and has lots of rusty bits, bumps, scrapes, dents, pipes that are perished and she dribbles oil here and there and could do with a new set of glow plugs.
Serial number is 9862 (one of the first 10k to be made)
Number Plate is HOD 737E
2 stage PTO (rare on these tractors)
The future of this little tractor is unknown, but she is going to make a perfect scraper tractor on a farm, an ideal restoration project or could be put to work on a small holding, the possibilities are endless.
With her quirky looks, patinated bodywork and some tender loving care from her next owners, she could be the pride of anyone’s collection.
